I'm not trying to suggest that ManU wouldn't have won in the second half had they gone in 0-0, they probably would have. I'm suggesting that we cannot know, we simply cannot be sure what would have happened, and like cricket matches that don't have a satisfactory conclusion, regardless of what team was 'likely to win' it doesn't matter, you can only call it a draw.
I just know that at some point some pundit is going to say that ManU are a great team because they "grind out" wins against the lesser teams. Perhaps there should be more analysis of how these wins are achieved?
