The Queen

No. I was invited by Chuck to a reception at Clarence House in 2008. I didn't go as I had told someone who would be there that I was in Sri Lanka. Kind of regret it now as I never got another invite

How did you and Bluey get an invite to tea with Her Maj?

EDIT: I know it's not606 tradition to assume you're lying and to demand to see a pic of you high fiving the Queen but I've just assumed that you're telling the truth!
I was working as a facilities manager at the largest military club in Britain and was asked if I’d like to go as a reward for my services over the years. That’s when I was asked after I’d said yes if I’d like the queen & Phil to say hello on their way around. I’d met Phil many times as he was our patron.

The In and Out?

It’s more of a bow and a are you enjoying the party type of thing but you are told only to answer before hand. I think the whole thing was over in about two hours but we made a day of it by going to see a show and dinner.
OK but my question was, did you work at the In and Out Club? <laugh>

They were rather nice sandwiches as I remember but I was more impressed with the military precision of the catering.
Indeed. Very robotic though. The grounds are lovely.

Yeah same here mate. The missus lapped it up though.

No, it’s never been there.
Oh. Why is the building referred to as The In and Out?

Just checked Wiki.

The club was formerly based at Cambridge House at 94 Piccadilly opposite Green Park and came to be known as "The In & Out" from the prominent signs on the building's separate vehicle entrance and exit gates. In 1996, the club purchased its current premises at 4 St. James's Square, the former London home of Waldorf and Nancy Astor from 1912 to 1942.
