If it's mush it won't be comercially accepted and will fail. It has to be as good as the real thing to take off (or close... Or cheaper, and it won't be cheaper for a long time)

Isn't it better to have cattle but not over produce for the supermarket who end up throwing most of it in the bins.....no fking respect when it comes to big corporations hey

Huge amount of waste. I love seeing cows in the fields too... Probably fewer of them around if we're artificially making meat... Still, if we're trying not to hurt animals and be more sustainable, I'd rather eat lab grown meat than be vegetarian, or worse, eat crickets, mealworms and grasshoppers like some are suggesting.

It has to be affordable, safe, and good, to work though and we're still a long way from that.

My guy got arrested..

As much as I obviously dislike the royal family (it is obvious right? I've not been too subtle)... I think it's a bit twatish to stand in line to heckle a funeral procession. I'll bash the royal family online where people can turn off or ignore me, would never go to a funeral to spit on a corpse though.

That said. Arrestable offence? Shouldn't be.. just an offence on decency. UK isn't a country where criticizing the royals is a crime. (Not until Priti Patel takes over from Truss at least, that sexy chubby fascist.)

Thanks guise

would be wrong not to do the page celebration dance

<party>

anyway

currently busy watching her Majesty the Queen RIP arrive at St Giles Cathedral to lie in state for 1 day

will keep you posted

What state is she in? I was in a right old state once when I kipped in a church doorway, too pissed to make it home. Hope she doesn’t wake up with a hangover like I had

Oh the bugs are part of bill dinner ideas for us and all.............let's not end up having to see farm animals in a farm museum hey.

How many years would you need for it to be in circulation for you to feel safe about eating lab grown meat dude.........I'm already out I'd rather be veggie

Honestly. Don't know. Would have to see the scientific reports on it first and weigh the risks

Serious question. Do you think the royal family ran genetic tests on William and Henry to prove they are really Charles' kids? Yeah, they kinda look a little like Charles so almost certainly his... But Charles and Diana weren't exactly close. We know Charles had an affair, it's not completely infeasible (if unlikely) Diana had one too.

Not saying I think they're illegitimate, just wondering if royals ever tested them discretely to be sure.

For that matter, are we sure Charles is Philips son? Fosse was a real ladies magnet in his youth apparently, would explain his defence of the royals if Charles is his son.
