This is starting to look like a nightmare. I knew Labour got this all wrong. Milliband should never be party leader. Ed Balls should have been hidden away and never seen again. Their policies were too wishy washy and not assertive or clear enough. Milliband was badly advised on that stupid tablet that basically said **** all and getting a smack head involved to encourage the young vote was a complete no no.

It started to go wrong when they voted in the wrong brother as leader imo. If Ed fails, will David be invited back for a coronation?

Possibly mate, I think he was the better of the two. But neither of them are leaders.

Slightly distracted at the moment, by the fact I've just noticed that Emily Maitland has HUGE ears......

YouGov exit poll...
CON 284
LAB 263
LIB 31
SNP 48
UKIP 2
PLAID 3
GREEN 1
Results so far are tending to support the exit poll over the other polls - of course, it IS possible that an opinion poll of 1100 people might be more accurate than a poll of 22000 people that have just voted, even when a similar exit poll taken at the same constituencies five years ago was proved scarily accurate. It IS possible, I guess. But the larger the sample size and the fact it asks what people have DONE instead of what they THINK, means the exit poll has more weight...

Fair enough Chaz, I bow to your superior knowledge on these matters.

Rejoice! Robert Peston telling us how happy our invisible and imaginary masters, the 'markets' will be with some certainty. But now despair! They won't like the uncertainty of an EU referndum! Oh woe is us!

Just going by what the BBC themselves are saying - that bigger numbers are more trustworthy, and that the three results so far haven't shown the level of swing to Labour that the opinion polls were predicting. Remember this is the left-leaning BBC, so they must be kicking themselves when they say it.
