What is so special that you'd travel all that distance with a match coming up. Can't say I'd be thrilled if I was his wife either. I do, however have some sympathy for Rooney as it was just a quiet drink at a nearby venue....and I think people do treat him disrespectfully. He may not be the player he was, but it isn't his fault if managers pick him.

Doesn't Tadic have 0 assists in the league this season? <laugh>

Pedant. Still makes him our player with most assists!

Interesting if true. I wonder if he hasn't noticed that Graziano has gone. Looks up, thinks "Where is he?" and the opportunity has gone. Or he flings the ball in for an athletic Italian to leap like a salmon and there's Charlie hopping like an arthritic frog. Other theories are valid.

Tadic still creates more chances than most premier league players.

Could be the fact that he is a better player than lots of others. One of the most technically skilful players around. Two feet, looks up, great balance. Make sure that you post on the Liverpool board how crap he is.

You also highlight a major problem with our friend's stat. Assists only count if the bugger on the end of the chance scores.

With the papers saying that both Manchester United and Liverpool are both are VVD, it is best to put a £70m price tag on our most prized asset. That should put them both off until the summer. I suppose both clubs might offer player plus cash exchange but who could Saints possibly buy from either that would want to come here? So let's discuss the issues.

Can't help thinking that Graziano or Rickie would have buried that magnificent cross from Cedric on Saturday ......<whistle>

At least. If Stones is worth £49m, then Virgil is easily £70m. Plus he has 5 more years on his contract. Hands off!
