I really, really want to see Everton drop next week. But Leeds and Sam Allardyce failing will be an enjoyable trade-off.
Both down would soften the blow for me immensely.

I would absolutely adore to see Allardyce, Dyche and their respective fanbases go down, than Leicester and Smith. Both down would soften the blow for me immensely.

Go foxes!!!Leicester still alive!
I unashamedly stole that and put it on the comments on the BBC match report.Big Sam keeps Everton up for the second time in his career.
But they are relying on Bournemouth going up to Everton and at least drawing with themselves beating West Ham at home.Reminds me a lot of the away 0-0 that we got under Hughes (against Leicester, as it happens), where we barely left our own penalty box for 90 minutes.
Hughes accepted that a draw was probably the best we could hope for, and got it. Enabled us to move slightly closer to Swansea.

Pragmatic. Everyone slags off Hughes but he did keep us up.Reminds me a lot of the away 0-0 that we got under Hughes (against Leicester, as it happens), where we barely left our own penalty box for 90 minutes.

Yeah. But at least they still have a chance now. If they'd lost, they would have needed a miracle.
A win at home to West Ham was always likely to be a requirement, regardless. Getting this point means that they can now disregard Leeds, whilst also putting themselves in a position where they can afford Everton to draw now. (Everton can't disregard Leeds, but Leicester can.)
I'd rather be Everton right now. But Leicester have given themselves a fighting chance. I can understand Smith's pragmatism.
The one and only time for me supporting them next week. Let's go you cherries. LolBut they are relying on Bournemouth going up to Everton and at least drawing with themselves beating West Ham at home.
I was raging at the time we didn't go for it in that game. Time wasting late on even. In hindsight it worked out alright in the endPragmatic. Everyone slags off Hughes but he did keep us up.

As long as Leicester win too, then Everton will finally get relegated.
