Could have been such a different game if only Villa had scored that chance in the....oh no wait, they've not created one thing.

Forget 4-0, this could have been another 9.

I think Villa will go down despite having a game in hand. They face Chelsea on Saturday so anther tough match. If they get relegated, it will follow the same pattern as with Fulham last season insofar that they have invested heavily in new recruits but to no avail. I feel a bit sorry for the Villa fans as they seemed to have been in decline for a while and promotion last season suggested that their fortunes were on the up. As founder members of the Football League, I always felt that they are a team who should be in the top flight.

Yes I agree and feel the same about Accrington and Notts County

What a sad day. Entirely predictable & a necessary evil to stop the spread. But I feel totally deflated by the news. From toddling around the front room in my underpants while my dad watched grandstand, to cold Sunday mornings down the rec, sport has always been part of my life. To have it taken away like this feels horrible. I think my mental wellbeing is in trouble if I have to self isolate & lose my work routine as well! Hope this crap parts ways soon, and doesn't take a toll.
What a awful day.

Part of me feels guilty about worrying about trivia like sport at a time of a looming crisis, but it is the small things that make life interesting and help pass the time. No sport...and the knock on effect of nothing to talk about on here...will leave a big hole in my life. :( Sad, eh?

So, so many people criticising Gov & sport councils when German BL carries on. Shoe on other foot & a “few” on here would be going nuts. I can’t believe how many people are criticising an unprecedented situ. It’s difficult, critical, unknown, dynamic & we all need to pull together & do our bit. People will perish, jobs will be lost, companies will close & it’s going to be ****e. No one is going to get this right. We should ALL be trying to help everyone. Our road has just got together to extend all our Tel, mob & emails so if anyone is struggling (shopping, prescriptions, etc) we can all help. Nothing really but maybe it’s pulling us all together? That’s good isn’t it?
