Article suggesting that Morgan's transfer to Man Utd ruined his career. Probably a success financially, though he wouldn't exactly be broke at Southampton. Saints have produced or been involved in the development of many good players, but there is no doubt that some struggle (at least initially) away from Southampton. There are players that are geniuses and will be in any team, but most are highly dependent on the players that surround them, the manager and style of the team. I suspect that Morgan has lost all the confidence that he gained by playing in our talented team which had experienced a lot of success at that time. A shame....as he is a good player and gave us good service until the bright lights beckoned. Be careful what you wish for.
