Happily for me I don't work with any scouse fans now. So I don't even mind if they win it that much. Probably made this up but I feel like more weird things happen in midweek matches.

Who cares what Fulham do? They are not going to overtake us. Ralph has got us playing to a standard that would see us in the top half of the table if he was here from the start of the season. Even without Man United's comeback I wasn't concerned. Stop worrying about other teams. There really is no need.
I understand that but I've been to 2 games with Ralph as manager: Cardiff and Everton. The improvement I've seen in the team makes me 99% sure we'll stay up comfortably. We carry on with averaging a win every 2 games and we will be cruising in mid table by April.I know what you’re saying, but I’m a Saints fan. Let’s get a bit more of a gap before we start getting too ahead of ourselves.
Don't be silly....all things being equal it will be OGS. Everyone knows it is much harder managing United with the players they have than managing Southampton. So could Ralph get PL manager of the month after all if we win tomorrow.
Will be won 3, drawn 1
OGS won 3, drawn 1
Ralph or media darling?
We have to win first.

Everton was comfortable.That. I think we're likely to extend the gap, but our wins to date have not been of the comfortable variety. We're still too fragile to start declaring ourselves safe, never mind a top half team.
Everton was comfortable.
Until the end, when it wasn't.
We're surrendering 1.5 goals a match since Ralph arrived; that's an improvement, but it's still bad, because we're fragile defensively. That's right around the goals allowed pace we had for all of last year, when we very nearly got relegated. Our biggest improvement has come on the attacking side, where we're suddenly scoring goals for fun, but I'm some distance from declaring that we're now an elite attacking unit now and forever.
Long term injury to Ings and Charlie goes. Well...

Or Redmond, or Hojbjerg. Or just a bit less good fortune; our match-winning goals against Everton and Leicester were both put into the net by the opposition.
I love your posts schad, it's like being on the bridge of the enterprise with Data!
Logical & statistically sound.
