As I always think - why would anyone go to West Ham with their weaselly board or Everton, who are never going to get close to “Pool now?
People say Dyche or Howe, but why the hell would they want to leave their current clubs, unless something is seriously wrong in the background?
I certainly wouldn’t be jumping ship from a “comfortable” (word used advisedly) position punching above your weight with a good squad to a club who have so many issues?
I hope Moyes goes back to Everton where he seemed happy before being seduced away and West Ham can have Big Sam - they deserve him.
Still want Liverpool, Man U and West Ham to go down next season though

Ronald went from a cracking job at little old Southampton to being in the top ten best paid managers in world football.
Total madness. On a side note, after his well wishing the other night I've put any animosity behind me. It was too big to turn down, and our people obviously did not fill him with confidence. That seems rather apparent now.

I liked the fact that he still 'cared' enough to wish us luck. That and the fact that he came back for an event at St Marys suggests that he wasn't miserable here and neither had he made enemies (or he wouldn't have been invited). The Everton job seemed too good and the problem was probably that Saints wanted him to sign for longer (for stability) and he was only willing to see out the one year left on his contract.
Glad he fell on his face, but no animosity left now. I'm saving all my righteous anger for the next manager/player to offend me. Don't know who it is, but there will be one as sure as eggs is eggs.
