Absolutely. At least we have something to fight for now, rather than yet another boring season trying to get into Europe or win a cup. Can't say it's not exciting though!![]()
Is this the 1st time we’ve been in bottom 3 since returning? I can’t recall whether we were there during the 1st year back & early months with NA?
When we came back up in 2012 we were in the bottom three for the first 15 games.

Think out of our first 10 games in our first season back we lost 8? We had a bad run of fixtures to start though with City, United and Arsenal three of the first four I think.
On today, think it was inevitable we'd drop in the bottom three. West Ham and Bournemouth drawing means they don't make much ground on us, Brighton, Watford and Huddersfield, although above us, seem to be on a downward spiral and West Brom only got one point, when they hit the bar late on and could have had three. Newcastle - providing they lose this evening - also seem to be on the down and if the takeover doesn't go through that will likely also really help. The Toon haven't won at home since September..
We have to get six points from the next three games - ideally Brighton and West Brom because tomorrow could be tough, but we're due a win at home to Spurs and I have a very small feeling we might nick something. Up the Saints.
Time to panic. Hopefully actually being in the relegation zone will be the kick up the arse all the players need, and we see a good performance tomorrow.
Can we physically be more negative???It's more likely to make them more tense and fearful and tend to play more negatively, I hope that i'm wrong though.
My biggest fear is how lightweight we look. Relegation battles are a slog, you have to grind out wins. And we saw in the second half against palace, and Watford. As soon as the opposition start fighting, we capitulate.
