Be interesting to see what City board do if they fail to get top 4, they'd have to back him surely?

It is the City boards fault they are what they are with some poor windows in the last few seasons, a lot of players signed who haven't worked out

And they've gotten into the habit of buying large numbers of attackers that seems to bedevil all of the big clubs. I agree with most of Beefy's list, and the number of defenders on that list isn't coincidental...they have brought in more forward players than they can possibly find time for, while their fullback situation in particular has gotten really bad. Those oldsters can still push forward, but good luck getting them back in time if they lose possession up the pitch.

But... but... Ron hates youth doesn't he? And he's an incredibly ****/lucky manager, right?

Well that's what many on here try to tell us anyway...

Not ****. He's just not 'all that'. And there's no question he neglected the youth set up whilst here. A great victory against an underperforming City changes none of that.

We're more than halfway through the season, and neither Manchester club is in the top four. If the season finishes in that fashion, it will be the first time in the Premier League era where that was the case.

Would be crazy if none of them did considering the money they've spent. I expect at least one will though.

It is amazing. What I like about it is the "two best managers in the world" are struggling to get it right and keep It right. New managers learning about their players and what works, in a new league (for one of them) and the play not as exciting as the fans expect or demand......

mmm what's that French bloke called? Dejan View?

We should definitely get that Spanish bloke instead, Juan Rule as manager and Juan Mata.

Juan Rule for Juan.

I see Pep Guardiola has said that he might not be good enough at Man City: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38700018

Of course, then the article explains his various medals and titles. All in leagues where the competition is so much narrower. Welcome to something that approaches real competition Mr Guardiola. Where even the teams outside of the media attention [ie, the cannon fodder] can do you over if you have less than a good day.

Oh that's not good.
Having recently come back from Africa, one of my group contracted malaria...it was diagnosed within an hour and tablets were given. She was all clear within 5 days. If you catch it in Africa, then finding out you have it when you are there is the best thing you can do as they are so used to seeing it they know just what to do. One of the Kenyan staff who were looking after us said they had contracted it about 10 times and it's no big deal (as long as they can afford the treatment which Ayew obviously can). It is as easily treated there as when we catch tonsillitis over here.
