I know for a lot of people it won't be a big deal, but dealing with encroachment is my absolute favourite thing about VAR. Referees just refused to deal with it before.

Where's the consistency though? Seems like they just wanted Arsenal to equalise to me.

I could have sworn that the PL said they weren't reviewing the taking of penalties.

They said they wouldn't review goalkeepers being off their line. They've always said they will review encroachment. Aguero and Vardy have also had missed penalties re-taken, due to encroachment.

Yeah Tom just said that too so it must be what I'm thinking of.

I'd argue that keeper off the line is a far bigger advantage though.

I was hoping Krul was going to talk himself into a second yellow after the retake. <laugh>

Would have taken huge balls from the referee though.

A bit like when a keeper continues to time-waste, after being booked. You just never see a referee pulling out a second yellow.
