Took us 25 minutes to score 5 against Aston Villa? We started in the 13th minute. Of course, if we'd had VAR back then, we would have scored after 4 minutes. Graziano was miles onside. Shane was offside out on the right flank and not interfering with play. Dozy linesman. We would have got to 5 in 22 minutes with that, instead of 25. Anyway, at least Sadio got the fastest ever hat-trick in the PL. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32670819
I don't care if it frozen at a certain frame it looks like it's the correct decision, if you're one of those people who maintain that it's what var was brought in for you're probably a bit of a moron.
That's crazy. I'm a huge fan of the idea of a time limit- say 30 seconds. Then, if they haven't made up their mind, the original decision stands. It's not clear and obvious if it takes three minutes to decide!
I know people will say that they don't apply clear and obvious to offside but maybe they should. If someone's clearly offside then you'll see it on the first replay, no need for all this line across the pitch bollocks.
Some consolation for Arsenal fans. Despite losing at home to Aston Villa and being down to 10 men, they're currently moving up the table!
I was thinking the same. (Not that Arsenal are losing any longer.) This could be the weekend where Leicester fans not just start to believe top 6 is possible, but top 4. I mean, it's not like it's the most unlikely dream they'll ever see come true. They've already played Spurs, Utd and Chelsea, so it's not even like they've had a nice, gentle start.
Still very, very early, but this definitely looks more like 2015-16 than the past couple seasons. Liverpool are very good; Man City are very good. Beyond them, there's an awful lot of not-defending happening...or, depending on your perspective, all that cash that mid-table sides have thrown at attackers is finally paying off.
You definitely feel there is opportunity for other teams to break into the top 6. But who, Leicester could do, teams that you thought could at start of season, Everton, wolves even Watford have not started that we'll. Could be an interesting season.
