Yep. Going 3 weeks without a game before a major final wouldn't be ideal. Unfortunate but understandable why they played the match.

Absolutely. An injury can happen anytime. They need to keep the players tuned in.

Huh, Graham Potter to Brighton. I don't hate it, but Ralph is better any day.

Also convenient for Man City to cycle out one of their old players. They need to upgrade him and Fernandinho, whereas I'm not really sure where Liverpool go from here, which is weird.

They could upgrade Virgil Van Dijk to his fellow countryman Wesley Hoedt, who is far better, and who would be a snip at £80 million.

I'm not being funny but when the managers start becoming younger than you, you know you are getting old :(

Really? They had Lovren and Matip play majority of the season next to van dijk. Need a new CB to compete with Gomez. Henderson would get no where nr the man coty team. Wijnaldum unlikely to either

Could find an upgrade on Firmino too.

Imagine Liverpool with Mbappe up front.

Firmino is the one who makes that front 3 click imo.

They still need a cb, a full back or two, and probably a central midfielder unless Naby Savage drastically improves.

Lol...and as you know, the expression 'nipper' is a slang term for young kids, originally thought to come from nipping your heels as they are small. Not what you sort of implied :)
