I was saying to a friend of mine a few weeks ago that if the options were Spurs finishing top 4 and Liverpool winning the league but Saints surviving or Spurs finishing 6th, Liverpool 2nd and Saints going down I would probably take the relegation.

Starting to look like we might be alright and Liverpool and Spurs ****ing things right up, football is looking good at the moment.

Yes I appreciate it isn't a popular view. I really don't think I would be that bothered if Saints were in the conference, football to me is all about piss taking and I can take anything said about Saints pretty well. My Spurs and Liverpool supporting mates however would all be insufferable ****ers if they have good seasons and are not very good at taking disappointment so I would have lots of fun winding them up if they finish 6th and 2nd respectively.

It is starting to look like this may happen anyway with Saints staying up which wasn't the case a few weeks ago.

Andy Carroll looks to have played his last game for West Ham after another injury setback.
He's missed the last two games with an ankle injury which makes it unlikely he will be fit before the end of the season, with his contract ending in the summer.

I was pondering who'd sign him..................and WHU were the only club I could think of! <laugh>

He'll be fit for the penultimate match.

Just the 3 games today. All 3 are relevant to us (the Huddersfield one maybe not so much).

Bournemouth v Newcastle
Burnley v Leicester
West Ham v Huddersfield

Come on Bournemouth and Leicester!
