Totally agree. The club seem to feel that he isn't solely responsible for our struggles this season and have either decided to give him longer or they would rather not replace him during the season. If we are safe this season, or even a bit better than that, I can see him being here next season as well. The club obviously see things differently to most fans and feel that he fits. Nothing we can do but live with it. Personally I want him to succeed because that means we have improved, but I get the idea that some fans actually want him to get worse so they can be proved right.
He might have come here instead of Watford in the summer, but now he is waiting for a fat compensation package and we aren't big enough for anyone to throw that away. Give it a bit of time without a job and he probably would consider us, but not in his present position.
To be fair, they are very used to appointing new managers. I'm sure they'll be making contact with their next manager next week. Garcia might not want to bother house-hunting.
