Newcastle under offer of £300m, how much did we sell for again?
£180m-ish for 80% wasn't it?

Hopefully this finishes a draw.
Been a cracking game.
Apparently dived for their penalty. I've not seen it myself, but I read fairly strong suggestions that he should be the first PL player to receive a retrospective ban for diving.
And indeed, Niasse has duly been charged. Has until 6pm today to respond/appeal.

Going to admit that the thought crossed my mind that if we lose to Everton then Pellegrino would almost certainly be sacked. I dismissed the thought, but it didn't daunt me at all.Quite frankly I don't care if a Saints player cheats his way to a penalty with a forward roll, head spin and a dive that would win the Olympics....as long as we win against Everton.
Was watching MNF and Carragher said that he should be banned and was laughed at by Bellamy and whoever the presenter is. Both of them saying that, whilst it wasn't a pen, there was contact and travelling at pace meant he would go down. They even said that he made the most of it, but didn't think it was a ban for diving. This is the reason why diving has come in more and more in my view, it is tolerated now and even encouraged by pundits. How many times have you heard "well theres contact so he is entitled to go down" or words to that effect? It is a contact sport ffs, not every contact is a foul.
Diving/simulation/over acting doesn't massively bother me however, be nice if it was stamped out but think it is so far gone now that it will take a minor miracle for it to be cut out completely. I see it every week at the level I play at with players trying to get others sent off by over acting or diving and that is obviously way below PL/professional level

That was pre-planned.A draw at Stamford Bridge wasn’t enough to save Nigel.
How many times has parads been sacked and re-hired?
It boggles the mind.
Only in football.
