If I were Everton i’d go -

Ancelotti
Tuchel
Favre
Wagner
Dyche
Howe

In that order. They’re all at varying levels of possibility, though I’d hope Wagner wouldn’t move.

As a Saints fan, I hope they get Moyes.

The sad news (in my opinion) is that Koeman will probably take the vast sums of money given him and then take the Dutch manager job :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Pards.

Then they can stay up, have a good season next season, with us enjoying watch it all fall apart again in season 2019/20 :)

Pards deserves a better break from Saints fans. He did a job for us. He bought us Rickie and gave us back belief. Allegedly he did a job on a centre-half's missus too, but let's forget that for a moment.

The problem for Everton is they're in the bottom 3. Money only does so much, there are managers in that list who have no wish to gamble a career on Everton's fine transfer record. They will need players in January. That said I don't think they are really at risk, look at the (PL) games they've played compared to Saints.

I think their fanbase is still somewhat deluded about what level of attraction for a good manager Everton FC has. Even with the lying Dutchman it took two gos, much confusion and a wheelbarrow of cash sent to his favorite golf course. The same approach may not work again, but I do expect the announcement of a January "warchest' pretty soon. Expect Benteke to go there for an inflated fee in Jan, even if his knee ligaments are still creaking.

I don't for a second think Everton are in danger of going down. They have too many good players for that, even if they are deficient in some areas and not playing to their ability at the moment. I don't think that would be a concern for any incoming manager.

Be interesting to see if they give Unsworth a run at it. He’s done great work with their U23 team apparently.
