Wow didn't expect that. Really weird, even if they decided they wanted to plump for a manager that might get them up and keep them up next time round rather than go with Parker again and then sack him on promotion, even if that was the thinking. Why sack him with 4 games left and not at the end of the season? Maybe he wants a new challenge and wanted out. But yeah, on the face of it it's mental.

Relegated Burnley aren't buying Jander for £20m+ and if he's leaving, he'll have bigger clubs in top leagues that will be interested.

West Ham going down would be a nice consolation prize if Spurs stayed up though.

It would, but meh. West Ham are always liable to having a season like this and go down. Whereas how often are Spurs going to have a season this bad? They'll throw money at it like crazy in the summer if they stay up and the opportunity might be gone. Spurs can go down this season and West Ham next season.

Brentford have very quietly done very well this season without Frank and having lost a number of their best players again.
Chance for Spurs tomorrow against a Villa side who had a midweek game in the Europa

So unless West Ham can avoid a likely defeat to Arsenal, the best they can hope for is 42 points and a bad GD. Which would mean Leeds are over the line, and Forest need just one more win.

If Spurs can win tomorrow, I would back them to at least equal 42 points (with a better GD). But I don't think they would get there is they lose tomorrow. Of course, West Ham might not get there either.

Doesn't bother me saying it, fair play to them. Hope they get into Europe.

Will be interesting to see how Rose does next year.

I think the only time I would actually want Spurs to go down is if I know we are going up, so basically the final dayof PL fixtures. Would be a complete disaster for us if we are still in the Champ next season and it’s them, Burnley and Wolves coming down
