I would. Don’t think their net spend has been that high, when you factor in what they got for Coutinho.
I’m sorry but anyone that can spend £80mil on a centre back and however much they spent on Alisson cannot complain about a shoestring budget. They have 30mil players in every position, plus global pull for players plus they are corrupt and tap players up to get them on the cheap as we found out with Lallana /lambert etc.

They have indeed spent more than their fair share….VVD £70m, Nunez £85m, Alisson £67m, Keita £52m…..and the likes of Mane and Salah and co in the £30-£40m bracket.
