Hull have made an official statement. He has undergone emergency surgery to relieve blood pressure on his brain. He has also fractured his skull. He is now in a stable condition but must remain in hospital for the foreseeable.
Got all those decisions right. But holy ****ing ****, did those Burnley players go down like a couple of cheap whores.
Thank you BBC for not showing a replay of the Ryan Mason injury. It would have been completely inappropriate.
Said it before but I really rate Silva. Would have been happy to have him here. (Along with his long lost brother David!)
Worst thing about football on TV is having to wait for Saints. These days I always do something else until I realise that MOTD[2] is practically finished then I can move the iPlayer LIVE pointer straight to start of the Saints match, watch it, and if I'm particularly enthused, watch it again a couple of more times, concentrating on the details. I might watch the pundits. Then I turn it off. That's about it. I did watch it on the football matches website about an hour after coming home today. Tbh, I don't quite know why I bother with MOTD. Old habits, I suppose.
I watch MOTD as well as Sky coverage if we win because, like a solar eclipse, there is rarity value. I have scarcely watch MOTD this season.

6 paragraphs to talk about Liverpool possibly going, and one line for the Saints. That's about normal.
Of course ... Liverpool have a big semi-final against someone from the south on Wednesday night, too.
I had a thought today and I apologise if this has already been suggested but what if West Ham didn't sell Payet? He no longer wants to be there, he's recently signed a new contract and I hear on the radio and TV pundits are saying they have to sell. Normally I would agree but as West Ham have virtually got their stadium for free, I would be tempted to let him rot, it would send a message to others - that is not the way to behave. Doubt he would get a dream move after sitting out his lengthy contract. I would have him nowhere near the first team who by the sounds of things don't want him anyway. If he came round, then it would be upto the players if they take him back!
I don't like WHU. and I resent the free ride they have been given. But Payet, he epitomises everything wrong with the modern game. Rotting in the reserves would be cruel on the kids. Little punk does not deserve the football skills he has been blessed with.
As President and sole member of the Danny Murphy fan club, I did wonder if Saints fans noticed how he made a point of complimenting Saints on Sunday night. Danny can talk crap, but he was a good pro footballer, and I found his analysis of Leicester interesting. He then spoke up to say Saints had been intelligent enough to take advantage and played well.
Are you sure he meant our Saints, not the Welsh lot or the rugby league team. Complimented our Saints, surely not!
