Not to worry anyone. but Chelsea are the only possible bidders for you-know-who, so it would be nice if their defence could hold it together for one more month,
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...l-Premier-League-table-January-sportgalleries A supercomputer (what the hell is a supercomputer) predicts the final league positions this season. Has us at 8th....I'll take that, cancel the rest of the season.
As Saints are not going to win the PL this season, it would be good for another outsider to win it again, so let's all cheer on Tottenham!!
Going to be very interested to see how he does. Possibly not the best arena for his talents right now, but let's see.
I'm pleased Alan Curtis has kept a role at Swansea, even if I'm surprised the new boss has moved him away completely from first team squad duties. If I was him I'd be making regular trips to watch Gomis out on loan and the lad at Granada. I'd just assume Emnes at Blackburn is doing ok http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38537931
Yes! Yes! Yes! *thumps desk Meg Ryan style* I On my way! It's the Star, but this is the club that he won't be able to turn down and it will be one in the eye for Koeman too. Enrique hasn't declared if he'll stay at the end of the season yet!! http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...cio-Pochettino-replace-Luis-Enrique-Barcelona
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...er-League-goal-top-20-all-time-sportgalleries Talking point. Jamie Redknapp gives his top 20 PL goals....Matty is 4th, Di Canio is 1st. A massively hard job I know as there have been so many goals, but I'd have put Cuco's in there. I bet it would have been considered more if he had been a striker....there is always this idea that non-strikers didn't mean it and it was luck (possibly true, but you still have to strike it). Almost all overhead goals are luck as well....you do it because you have few choices, so you hope it will go in or at least surprise the opposition.
Fair point with Cucos goal Fran, if that was Rooney it would have sky fawning all over it showing it repeatedly , but I agree with Di Canio being 1st, sublime technique.
Is Di Canio's the volley from the angle? I've always felt that a good goal but not as good as made out. It has one piece of skill, the volley, that's it.
I always thought that and felt I was on my own. Always made worse by my brother being a Spammer. I feel we can support each other through this. That said, Cuco's goal also had one piece of skill. Le Tissiers goals were constantly sprinkled with magic dust and silk with every touch...
