Yeah, I think so, because if they still look championship bound after Xmas, I doubt their list of managerial candidates at that point will have anyone more impressive than Howe on it because they won't attract a top manager to get them promoted again. I don't feel they'll stick with Howe if they go down though, despite his record of promotions from the Championship.
It won't happen but just to entertain it for a second. Ralph going to Norwich would make no sense at all. He'd be on a even more restricted budget than he is here.

Being *super* cautious about it, I do wonder why his name is suddenly cropping up with these jobs - and whether his agent might have put feelers out? I know people really liked his response regarding it not being his squad, but the right squad for Southampton - that could be taken one of two ways.

If Ralph had been super successful I can see him wanting a fresh challenge like Villa.
The fact the board have stood by him after two 9-0's and a poor sequence of results, I think would mean alot to Ralph and will repay that loyalty by not jumping ship at the first opportunity. Plus a chance to develop this team now
