I think the difference is, is that Saints are prepared to take in a number of players who have been dropped by other professional clubs. I wasn't aware that we were doing that.

Unfortunately, it's 16-19 year olds, so FLT and myself can put our boots back in the cupboard. Can't remember when I last put mine on.

Here's an article from September about it:

http://www.citybathcoll.ac.uk/news-...ball-stars-at-new-southampton-fc-academy.html

City of Bath College Principal Matt Atkinson said: “We are pleased to have teamed up with Premiership side Southampton to set up this second chance football academy.

And here's an article from last April from the OS:

I don't even know what I'm thinking, Chilco. Plenty of times I surprise myself. It's an interesting life. ;)

I know what you mean, but I was alluding to the abilities of a certain South coast club in the Premier League to run at defenders. I think we could get something at the Etihad. And hopefully we might have Lovren back by then.

Let's hope Demechelis is still playing in midfield, and Aguero is still out then....

It's OK, I got it. I was thinking of Jay, Adam and rest of the team charging forward, but I wasn't 100% sure. Didn't want to disappoint you by saying something else. :)

I like that Chelsea leave two up at corners. Why don't more teams do that as it means the opposition will have to leave three back.

FT Man City 0 - 1 Chelsea. First time Man City have failed to score at the Etihad since against Birmingham in November 2012.

Only City player that played good was Yaya. They were seriously poor.
