That is most certainly NOT a penalty. His arm was near his body. Ludicrous to say that's a penalty.

Can I just say, sitting in 10th and only 4 points behind us (and we're widely being thought of as having a good season) are Hull - what a fantastic job Steve Bruce is doing there. Hats off to him.

Players steer Fulham to relegation, more likely.

Yeah, they truly are in trouble. It'll be very difficult for them to move players on, as much of their squad is quite old and presumably on high wages, which doesn't leave them much room to maneuver in improving the team in January.

If there's one saving grace, it's that the aged core of their team is reaching the end of their contracts, so whether they survive or get relegated, they ought to be able to rationalize their wage budget in the summer.

Fulham are an unbalanced side that needed rebuilding in the summer. They failed to to that and now they're reaping what they sow, i guess. They have too may luxury flair players like Berbatov, Ruiz and Taarabt. Berbatov hardly ever moves without the ball, you can't have that in the EPL. A bunch of their players are way past their peaks, like Duff, Riise and Karagounis. Some of the players are decent (Dejagah, Kacaniklic, Kasami), but hardly world beaters. Despite his laziness, Berbatov is the only player thay have who can genuinely make a difference, but these moments are getting rarer and often undone by the defensive sloppiness of the team and their unwillingness to put in a shift.

So though job ahead of Rene Meleusteen. We'll know more after the january transfer window, they have a new owner and will see just how ambitious is he.
