He always goes on about his excellent defence, but his defence has been poor, albeit due to injuries, for the last 5/6 games. They're also scoring a fair amount of goals - Carlton Cole's record when starting has been really good, I don't know why he wasn't played consistently from the start of the season.

Ah... how about he was released by the club during the close season and therefore couldn't play for them..? :)

Are Swansea, Southampton in disguise? More possession, more attempts and losing 1 0 to a team that scores with their first shot on target.
 
Lovely day in Brighton. In UKIP terms, it's stopped pouring with gay and blowing a bisexual. Positively straight out there today.
 
So despite our recent results, we really aren't being tracked down by anyone in the bottom half. Points totals for 9th-20th over the last ten:
