I know, I just hate that phrase. Not just because it's cliched, but because the Premier League features so much variance on a game-to-game basis that it's never remotely true.

To be fair to Lawro [I'll do it just this once] the odds were stacked so much in Spurs favour that I was picturing Saints in 5th place. ;)

To say, I didn't expect that result, would be an understatement. Anyway, well done WHU.

EDIT: And if Twiskter comes on here I'll tell him so. :)

Need to see that Ravel Morrison goal, it's supposed to be brilliant.

Thanks Spammers, you keep us fourth for two whole weeks!
Was a decent goal but he was the right side of the Spurs players for them to challenge for the ball. Seen better but it was decent.

That little quickly-flicked free kick to Nolan...how many times will they surprise teams with that before it stops being surprising?

West Ham used a lot of luck today. 2 flukey goals and one brilliant one.

p.s. Anyone who utters the phrase "you make your own luck" will be punched through the internet..

Boruc (very begrudgingly) in Garth Crooks team of the week. He wanted to pick De Gea but had "no choice" after watching Boruc's saves.
