Rumours on twitter that the Ox has done his ACL, and will be out for the season and the World Cup. Hope it's not true!

Seems as though the papers have picked up the Ox story as well.

Some say back February, some say whole season. He will be scanned tomorrow. Absolutely gutted for the lad, he was looking great in pre-season and in the first half yesterday.

Even if it was a foul it happened a full minute or so before the pen. Referees aren't perfect Holloway, deal with it you twat.

Oh ****ing Holloway, man. I want to like Palace but he's not going to let me is he?

Why does he think this nasty sarcastic tone will get him any sympathy. If he wants the sympathy of other small club fans he should suck it up and carry on, Martinez did exactly that as manager of Wigan and he's now manager of Everton with an FA cup to his name!

If they're going to analyse strikers by looking at their amount of touches in the box every weekend, that's going to get annoying. It says nothing about his performance at all, it just says his teammates couldn't get the ball to him.

What are we making of Mark Chapman on MOTD2?

I didn't dislike Murray but Chapman is good so far.

Chapman is decent, better than Lineker anyway. I really liked Colin Murray - very enthusiastic and clearly liked football and his job. The pundits on the BBC are just woeful. Danny Murphy wasn't too bad yesterday, but Hansen, Shearer, Lawrenson and Robbie Savage are shocking.

Still don't understand why they replaced Colin Murray....
