1.) LadyC works for the NHS

I like to think that a reckoning is coming for the Tories and Trump

...then I remember what Americans are like, so I scale back my hopes accordingly

...then I remember what Brits are like, and then believe that maybe a few people will but a GTECH instead of a Dyson

We have a senator for Kentucky,a certain bent politician, telling his people the wonderful things he has done for the American people with the big windfall the people will get(?). That was after the Dems put a spoke in his tyre and stopping Moscow Mitch McConnell from helping out the rich business people (again!) He had to adjust his thinking, but still going ahead talking bullcrap!...….and this was the man who got his crooked President off Impeachment with the help of the rest of the Republican crooked Party of creeps!

...oh look, the Tory attack dogs are all jumping up and down saying that, as Keir Starmer was head of the CPS, he should have locked up Jimmy Savile when he had the chance

Somehow they forget the person he spent eleven consecutive new years Eves with was also in a position to do something

No, but I have read that he was the lawyer who was in charge of the CPS who couldn't find enough evidence to charge Jimmy Savile when both Surrey and Sussex constabularies though that they had an open and shut case. That may come back to bite him.

Anyone who visits Chequers is subject to a thorough background check

Rumours about Saville had been doing the rounds for decades before his death, certainly since the late 70s, so if plenty of people at the BBC had more than a mere inkling there's no logical reason they wouldn't have come up in the background check

Too many at the BBC kept quiet. Savile was view untouchable. Starmer had evidence but was either frightened of losing, but more likely frightened of rocking the boat.

Thatcher was warned not to put him forward for honours for years because he was dodgy.
That was revealed when The Sun, of all papers, put in a bunch of Freedom of Information requests years ago.
She knighted the nonce anyway, because she loved utter scumbags. See Pinochet for another example.

Attempting to put this one on Starmer is laughable.

...and with Lisa Nandy installed as Shadow Foreign Secretary and Rachel Reeves as Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, the Keir Starmer honeymoon is officially over
