Shouldn’t be as much as that apart from services. No problem getting it and it’s in the £1.40s last I saw.

Though I did make the mistake of not filling up cheap in Lesta assuming the sat nav would take me the same way home down the A43 so had to pay £1.71 on the M1 at Toddington. Met a very nice Lesta fan and saw a woman who I’m 97% sure was a high end escort so not all bad.

I hope old age puts paid to this deluded **** soon.

he will be gone soon enough
i should start a countdown clock on it
can he become vice president to vances president

Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in the United States on November 7, 2028, to elect the president and vice president for a term of four years.

Just received an alert from Companies House saying their Webfiling Service Security was breached last week and access to certain info was visible to other users including dates of birth, residential addresses, email addresses. It may have been possible for unauthorised filings such as accounts or changes of directors on other companies records. This is a service that is now accessed by the new gov.uk one login which would form the access to the government's plans for digital ID. If it's that easy to breach how safe will everybody's full personal info be with them?...

***Edit - Just seen this 'glitch' in their system has been open for about five months, so 'security' has been an 'open door' since last October. You couldn't make it up...

Rachel Reeves agrees the student loans system is broken and needs fixing, along with lots of other things, but it’s not a priority and ‘fiscal responsibility’ means she won’t do anything.

Would have slightly more credibility if she had ‘fixed’ one single thing in her time in office.

Two-Time Presidents and the Vice-Presidency

Abstract
Does the Constitution limit the ability of a twice-before-elected President to serve as Vice-President? This question, as it turns out, presents an intricate constitutional puzzle, the solution of which requires working through four separate sub-inquiries: Is a two-term President totally ineligible for the Vice-Presidency? Is such a person barred from election to the Vice-Presidency even if that person remains appointable to that office? Is a twice-before-elected President, even if properly placed in the Vice-Presidency, incapable of succeeding from that office to the Presidency? And even if such a succession can occur, must the resulting term of service as President expire after two years? This Article addresses each of these questions by laying bare the implications of the decisive constitutional texts — namely, Article II’s enumeration of Presidential qualifications, the Twelfth Amendment’s treatment of qualifications for the Vice-Presidency, and the post-service limitations placed on two-term Presidents by the Twenty-Second Amendment. To be sure, thoughtful analysts have argued that the Constitution forecloses the possibility that a twice-before-elected President can hold (or at least secure election to) the Vice-Presidential office. Close inspection reveals, however, that that view misses the mark. In fact, the relevant constitutional provisions, their histories, and their purposes all point to the same conclusion: A twice-before-elected President may become Vice-President either through appointment or through election and — like any other Vice-President — may thereafter succeed from that office to the Presidency for the full remainder of the pending term.

Here in NB, Canada after our weekly (Friday) gas/diesel price setting, gas (petrol) jumped from C$1.55/litre to C$1.75/litre and diesel to C$2.25/litre. Fortunately to take advantage of various past significant Shell BMO Air Miles promotions I have about 300 litres of gas stored in my garage in 20L, 10L and 5L containers. Before the Iran situation our gas price was C$1.35/litre.

For insurance purposes can you have that much fuel at your house
Limit is 50 litres here

It’s all good now. Trump wants to pull out of the sh1t fest, and has left a ‘turd in a tissue bag’ through the letterbox of the worlds countries with a note to let them know that they now are expected to clean up the en-Hormuz mess he’s left for the world economies.
Don’t you just love a peacemaker. Nobel prize for the spare hairpiece in the corner please!

The issue is the Iranians won't stop now, they want all American bases in the region out, the war might continue sans the Yanks

We live in a small bungalow on a concrete slab with attached garage where the gas is stored in proper containers. Supply going down fast, just filled 20L in each of our vehicles, a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE 3L V6 and 2025 Toyota RAV4 XLS PHEV with Technology package.

Interesting stats on PHEV gas savings for a similar Mitsubishi Outlander SUV.

Petrol here now into the middle £1.40s per litre, diesel now in the upper £1.60s. Saw one place in the Old Kent Road at £1.85. Diesel prices are increasing daily, so much for the claim it takes two weeks to filter through to the pumps...
