However cretinous Trumps posturing on Greenland I seriously doubt that the EU would destroy the world economy (which is the result of destroying the US’ economy) in retaliation. And of course Starmer would **** himself and probably side with Trump anyway. I think Mr Molnar may be getting a little carried away, ‘almost certainly’.

Yes, a deal will probably done, but I think I'd prefer it if Denmark, and Europe as a whole, just told Trump to **** off. The USA is no longer an ally, it's a rogue state. Europe should abandon NATO and create its own defence pact, inviting Canada to join. The US wouldn't fulfil its Article 5 obligations under Trump anyway.
Remember the outrage from some during the Brexit campaign, notably Farage, about the prospect of a European army? I wonder why that would have been.

A deal may well be struck, but it should be on European and not US terms. I hope that Trump's intentions start a revolution in the US and he ends up having to deploy his troops on US streets just to keep the peace!
The guy is unhinged and a threat to world peace, however fragile that may be. He is just a big, fat orange bully who doesn't know when to give up as he pursues his own agenda. He doesn't believe in negotiations.
The idiots in the US elected the cretin, as they say "you reap what you sow".
There's a strong possibility that he'll deploy his troops on US streets, anyway. He needs an excuse to cancel the mid-term elections, and declaring a State of Emergency would work just fine in that respect.
Anyway, **** the World economy. Who benefits most from it being sustained in its current form? A few dozen billionaires who could do with taking down. I'd be delighted if Mr Molnar's predictions were borne out.

Thanks Spazz! I'm glad our country found you not to be worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize. As your fat ego is so large, we will take our chances with Russia and China. If your prophecy comes true that we will be attacked by one of them, then the hard decision falls on you, as a NATO member state has been attacked. So do you have the balls to stand up to what your country has supported for so long and the treaty has some value to your people.

First business of the day is to kick out the yanks from every European base. Then watch Iran, Yemen, Syria wreak havoc on the US. Followed by an embargo on US goods and services. The world is perfectly fine without the US.
Tickets will sell like hotcakes in Russia, China and Europe to watch the US implode.
