The good people of Clacton have elected Butthead.
This kid speaks well and he’s right when he says Parliament needs diversity and different experience. Apparently a very good councillor. If he was ten years older with a decade of working for a hedge fund behind him I don’t think he’d be more qualified.
You can pretty much guarantee though that had Labour really believed they were going to win that seat he wouldn’t have been the candidate.
Maybe but then in a slightly unexpected election with little time that’s probably true of many places.
Things can only get better. Already Starmer has brought us a Euros semi-final place, Brits 1-2-3 on the grid at the British grand prix and Emma Raducanu poised for a Wimbledon win.
