The Democrats abdicated responsibility and will surely have to take their fair share of the blame for what is to come just as the Republicans did. It does remind me once again of the absolute folly of the abolition of a default retirement again in the interest of allowing each and every one of us to decide when it is right to retire. In the real world those who won't go are eventually got rid of in some disgrace. Meanwhile the opportunities for getting a foot on the ladder never mind career progression for the young are constantly reducing as a result of those in the 65-75 age group hanging on for dear life because they can't afford to retire or simply don't want to

l get the feeling Trump will be wanting to implement Hitlers ‘scorched earth policy’ when he’s forced from office again.

Just read this on LinkedIn.

Don’t know the poster, and I’m not claiming that it is 100% correct.

Anyone have any insight on this? <ok>

The graphic has obviously skewed sizes for different amounts. Losing 9,500 millionaires sounds terrifying. Until you see that there are 2,849,000 millionaires in the U.K. I’m surprised it’s that few given the value of property in some places.

And the graphic has nothing to do with ‘non doms’ it’s just millionaires most of whom won’t be non doms. So it’s a **** piece of propaganda, but no surprise. You could just as easily blame the exodus on Brexit. After all Dyson and Ratcliffe ran away at the first opportunity, after telling us how great it would be, didn’t they?

68,800 non doms in the UK at the last count. That figure will almost certainly go down under Labour, the question is, by how much?

Are we doing the whole ‘having a security wall at Glastonbury is hypocritical if you think it’s wrong to shoot migrants in the sea’ thing again?
