Close to 5000 dead in Gaza now.

Still, the Archbishop of Canterbury is visiting Jerusalem, so that’ll probably sort it.

Reported 13,000% rise in anti semitic hate crime reported in London over the last two weeks. Not too sure what this entails, but ffs, it’s never going to end is it? Evil cretins.

That absolute supernonce Simon Case has decided he’s sick for an unspecified period of time just before he’s due to give evidence to the Covid inquiry. What are the chances?

Hancock wants immunity before doing so. Sort of an admission of guilt there from our aspiring reality TV star.

Hang them both and start again. Maybe not hang. Just lock them in a room with a few bereaved Covid families for a week.

So, according to the head of the Met Police, when a river-to-sea hate preacher stoking up a crowd of Islamists that have clenched fists raised and are screaming "Jihad!", that term might be something quite innocuous and not worth of precious police attention.

Perhaps the police think Jihad! could be the Middle Eastern equivalent of "Here, Here!" or "Well said!". Maybe they think the crowd are calling to a bloke called Jihad who's wandering about trying to find the meeting. Sometimes, you just cannot credit those at the top of the Police Force with anything more than the brains of an ostrich

Working near Farringdon today so had a stroll around Hatton Garden and Leather Lane market. Plenty of religious Jews and Arabs/Muslims in traditional dress and no one is arsed. I think there’s a vocal minority full of hate but for the most part people are just getting on with it.

I was just down the road near Smithfield.

Cap on bankers bonuses lifted as part of new Brexit freedoms. Apparently.

Thank **** for that, I was getting worried about how they were coping in this cost of living crisis.

It so that all those bankers will want to come and work in this country Stan...and I thought we were trying to curb immigration.

Coming over here in their little (ish) boats stealing all our jobs

It will trickle down to the poors if my AS Level economics lessons are true. Or it won’t if every example of this ever is true. Sadly the government’s economics tends to be something a Year 13 economics student could debunk quickly.

If Hunt is really clever ie devious he can argue that over inflated bonuses increase the tax take……

…..though I suspect the bankers are good at avoiding tax.

A shame Hunt is a thick Hunt. He’s announced he’s not standing again so he doesn’t get embarrassed on stage while a bloke dressed as a pirate throws oranges at him.

What do you find idiotic and reckless in his statement Col ?

Mainly the timing of it.
He was more or less suggesting that Israel were getting their just desserts.
I know many people agree, but with hostages being held and many delicate discussions taking place, he could and should have chosen his words more carefully.
He obviously wanted to make a point.

Just bomb the ****hole off the map. See what the UN statement is then.

Get the hostages home first of course. **** whoever’s left. There’s my message on behalf of Israel.
