Shorter or not, I wish it started an hour earlier...
Yes, a simpler format, scheduled earlier would suit a lot of people.

I've heard that POV before. From a raving lunatic from Cumbria while at uni in London. He could find no fault at all with what they said it was just the fact that they espoused Socialist values for pure Germans who would of course be the privileged lords and masters over all others. You must log in or register to see images

Why do they come here then ?
Of the relatively few that do, plenty of reasons. Fleeing persecution, poverty, war, employment opportunities, natural disasters to name a few.
Or, you know, to get a free mansion in Chelsea and unlimited benefits.
War and famine in Albania ?
Must have gone downhill since I was there, drinking in the Lady Diana Pub
I didn’t mention famine.
We approve 53% of Albanian asylum claims.
You mentioned Natural Disaster’s which I would think includes famine.
You could say we decline 47% of claims also
Yes, you could. Presumably though given we have a government trying to be as hostile as possible on immigration there’s a good reason for approving the majority of cases from Albania.
It's not all about Albanians, although it's convenient to single them out.
Since 2018, the numbers of arrivals are...
Iran 17,912
Albania 13,458
Iraq 12,766
Afghanistan 10,778
Syria 6,173
Eritrea 5,358
Sudan 3,763
Vietnam 2,030
Egypt 1,603
Ethiopia 1,185
Other 8,210
But in this case we actually are talking about Albanians. And according to you figures they are quite a significant group
Yes they are, but they are too readily used to suggest that they comprise the majority and throw doubt on the legitimacy of all those crossing in boats.
So are we not allowed to mention them ?
On another point, and I may be reading it wrong, but I don’t get your figures ?
A quick google showed me that there have been at least 135,000 decreed trying to enter the uk illegally since 2018.
Isn’t that way beyond the figures you’ve quoted ?
Of course you can mention them, I just thought I'd provide some perspective.
The figures I quoted were Home Office numbers for small boat arrivals, not sure where your quick google number would have come from. By the way, it's not illegal to cross the Channel in a boat and it's not illegal to claim asylum. At least, not yet.
