No it's not, it's the government's report, mainly by a Tory based committee to try introduce political balance in any teachings at school. You really do talk **** nowadays Goldie. You've changed
Where do you think the concept of white privilege came from, before it was adopted by SOME UK schools, which prompted the Commons Education Committee (which includes 4 Labour members) to look at it.

Piggott School in Berkshire was one named. Chestnut Grove academy. There are others named if you care to search for them. There's a whole bundle of newspaper reports on it. Right and left wing.
I don't care to search for them because it's a Tory recommendation to try teach impartiality within schools. That's because most youngsters will never, ever vote for the rotten ****s. Simple as that. They dress it up as something else for people like you to pretend that they're not rotten ****s and you fall for it
I said I'd post these. If you think it's just a Tory issue, you're mistaken. An incoming Labour government would have to confront the same mendacious issue. Katharine Birbalsingh speaks a lot of sense in the clip.

To be honest I’ve seen nothing in the reports you’ve come up with, the ones that can be opened anyway, that have done anything to strengthen what you say is going on….and if it was I’d be totally against it. In fact, after reading the first article, it seems to me that it’s the Government who are trying to cause division in the community, by sowing the seeds of discontent…..I mean, it’s not like they haven’t done that kind of thing before, eh ?
White working class kids have been let down more than most, and that’s something that can’t be denied…..however you’ve not done shown any facts as to if this teaching of “white privilege” is being taught widely…..
Did you listen to the Birnbalsingh interview? She's an experienced head teacher, and articulates clearly why all pupils at her school are treated equally, and no pupil is saddled with white guilt.
White privilege teaching does the opposite. It seeks to divide, confer guilt in white kids and resentment in kids of colour.
I’m agreeing with you…and have said the self same thing previously. However you have given no evidence that the practice has in fact taken place……instead come up with articles that show no clear evidence of such.
The whole thing stinks of those in charge, seeking to cause division on things that simply done exist….someth8ng that’s been done many times in the past.
The headmistress speaks a lot of sense here. We are constantly being told by school that we need to support our kids at home, and how important it is for parents to be present when kids are doing school work. Indirectly, that could suggest a form of privilege in that some parents can afford to not work and be at home to help kids with homework, and some can't...but surely that is economic privilege, and not a privilege based on skin colour.

I don't think there's any dispute it is happening, the issue is to what degree.
Schools should do their best to create an even playing field for kids and no discrimination over colour, race, religion, and sexuality. But beyond that it's hard. Some kids are brighter than others, some work harder, Tiger mums will get the best out of their kids (but at a cost?). Parents can be a help but they can also be hindrance over homework. Some kids get used to leaning on them for help. As a kid, I did better when I was left alone and it was sink or swim. I sunk a lot at Latin.
So is it happening to a great extent and a big problem in our schools ?
Or is it just happening in a few, right on middle class, paid for the privilege, types of school and honestly no big deal ?
Just ‘cos some right wing academic says it’s endemic in our mainstream schools doesn’t make it so… then I’ll just call it out for what it is…..a hysterical call, meant to pander to the likes of your good self so you can all shout “Infamy, Infamy…they’ve all got it in infamy”
I had a poll this morning of 3 mixed race kids and 100% said it was never taught in their classroom so I’ve proved it doesn’t happen, eh ?
To me it’s a bit like the furore over young girls having their drinks spiked…..the media make it out to be a massive concern and that the practice is wide spread….where clearly it really isn’t. (Of course not saying that if and when this kind of thing did take place, and it certainly has I’m sure, it wouldn’t be horrible and vile)
It’s all about media hysteria…..and sadly people like you fall for it.
