I'd love to sit down with one of them and try and understand why they think it's an effective way of getting people to support their cause. It's so counter-productive.

I’ve seen many interviews on TV with them, Insulate Britain, Extinction Rebellion etc etc….and they are truly ****ing barking and cannot have a rational conversation.
I really wouldn’t bother trying

Looks like Trump's red wave has failed to materialise in the US midterms. The GOP will probably still win control of the House, but the Senate could remain split or even go Democrat. Many forecasts had suggested that Republicans would comfortably gain control of both. Trump, characteristically, says that if the Republicans win, he deserves all the credit, but if they fail it won't be his fault.

One of the Senate seats still up for grabs is in Georgia, where there could be a run-off between ex-football star Herschel Walker and his Democrat opponent. Walker is certifiably bonkers imho, and the fact that could even be nominated, yet alone possibly win, says a lot about the state of US politics and of the country itself, I reckon. (Sorry Stan).

Nah I just gave up and went home…..Hospital can wait I guess…..still hate every bone in every ****s body……but then again I do have anger issues.
I assume this is an appointment Stainsy.
This is a consequence that the protesters aren't considering. Its not all about economic issues...

Hope you can sort out another one. Xx

Yeah. Thank god we have candidates like Michael Fabricant and Zarah Sultana.

Not life or death and more of an inconvenience to be honest Beth and just starting to get the ball rolling for the next stage of treatment…….happy that I might be ok to have Brachytherapy after all, instead of the 4-5 week course of beam radiotherapy that was talked about, but still not confirmed. So now just waiting for them to get things started…..not keen on the hormones and side effects but hey, ho, it is what it is.
I’m more chilled now…however I was a tad angrier this morning….but was angrier last night after the way we lost.
All is good

They're not on the same level of bonkersness as Walker, though. He doesn't believe in evolution, thinks that school shootings can be stopped through the power of prayer and doesn't believe that abortion should be allowed in any circumstances (despite at least two women claiming that he pressed them to get abortions after impregnating them).

Wait a minute, he sounds a bit like Jacob Rees-Mogg, doesn't he?

Just thought ….why are they closing the M25 when you’ve got these people on top of the gantries ? I mean, they ain’t gonna jump and they ain’t gonna throw anything down on traffic…..they just seem to want to sit there.
So why not leave them up there and ignore them ?
