Admiring a protester who’s prepared to go to jail for his/her/they/its/bollocks beliefs is one thing, but are they admired for the misery they’re causing for everyday folk trying to go about their business? I see one guy couldn’t get to his own father’s funeral and I understand ambulances have been held up. There must be many individual tales of woe caused by these zealots. Will some still admire them even when they cause or contribute to the death of someone, perhaps even a loved one of one of their fans?

Nah they give a **** because THEY are right, YOU are wrong…..repeat it enough times and you might believe it.
Only a ****ing idiot could think what they are doing is just and meaningful. Hypocrites the lot of them

Except for Mr Broccoli….he’s cool

Anyone watching the shouty posh lady on Sky News completely avoiding any reasonable questions about their tactics? Jesus.

These protestors really are going the wrong way about getting people on their side. I agree with their message but not their delivery.

I feel the same, but I have to then ask what alternative kind of protest would be effective without upsetting anybody? As I said, it's no good protesting if no one's aware of it. Perhaps they should all get together and tut very loudly as if someone had jumped a queue.

How about chaining themselves to Parliament railings like the suffragettes? They get attention without putting the public at risk, we go about our daily business. With ****s like Oil, Insulate and Extinction, I instinctively want anything other than they're demanding, which is totally counterproductive. No government with a backbone would give into their damaging threats.

Maybe the could respect democracy and start their own political party, then their millions of sympathisers can elect them to government and they can save the planet for all of us, including the Indians, Chinese and other developing nations. Bagsy the mud hut on the left.
