Risk assessment and risk management. We assume that they aren’t either suicidal or homicidal, but they could be one or both and the authorities have to make the judgement on what is an acceptable risk. Apparently in this case the risk is assessed to be so high as to inconvenience (at best) or materially harm (at worst) potentially millions of other humans by closing the road. I think the protesters should shoulder the risk to themselves without any attempt to keep them safe from the rest of us. But I wouldn’t like the responsibility of deciding about public safety. These twats could create a danger without even meaning to. I hate ****ing monomaniacs in any walk of life, these sad sacks are an example of the breed at its most pathetic.
I’d just send up some guys to handcuff and/or chain them up there. Confiscate anything they can throw down and leave them there for about 48-72 hours in their own piss and faeces.

CEO of Next, Lord Wolfson, says the UK’s immigration policy is holding back economic growth. “We have got people queuing up to come to this country to pick crops that are rotting in fields, to work in warehouses that otherwise wouldn’t be operable, and we’re not letting them in. We have to take a different approach to economically productive migration.” “I think in respect of immigration, it’s definitely not the Brexit that I wanted, or indeed, many of the people who voted Brexit, but more importantly, the vast majority of the country". This bloke, like the Wetherspoons ****er, was a highly vocal proponent of Brexit and is now whinging about not being able to recruit enough staff. I'm sorry mate, the majority of the country voted to keep foreigners out and are still raging about asylum seekers risking their lives to try to get here. Did you not see Farage's poster? They all knew what they were voting for. Reap it.
Bored waiting for the kids to finish school and thought I’d randomly go down the rabbit hole of interviews with the weirdos of Just stop oil/Insulate Britain/Extinction Rebellion.......**** me they are a very strange bunch and every interview ends with the ****tards either shouting, screaming or walking off sett........the only one who made sense was Mr Broccoli, who at least was funny. How anyone can support these freaks I really don’t know
I'm sympathetic to the general cause of demanding action against man-made climate change and I admire anyone who feels strongly enough that they're prepared to go to jail for it. This may not be the best form of protest, but there's not much point in a protest that no one notices.
Stainsey the class warrior has turned into a right-wing reactionary. Well done mate, you got a chuckle from another of the gammons on here.
You ok Strolls ? Chill bruv. You’ll still be able to get your soy milk, two shot choca latte with caramel foam from some underpaid, overworked 19 year old Romanian in Pret….it’s what you people do…it’s who you are. Alls good
You people? You don't know who or what I am, pal. This stuff's rather tired now, don't you think? Why don't you try making an argument instead of your sad insults?
Eh ? You were the one who started a row Strolls……I just don’t back down to your bullying. It’s there for all to see
