The liberal Tobias Elwood has been stripped of the Tory whip for failing to vote in the vote of confidence last night. Means Penny Mordaunt loses a voter.
I had two Typhoons going over here yesterday afternoon for an hour. The noise was colossal. I'm not far from Farnborough. I assume that was Boris.Colin Brazier

Boris took control of an RAF Typhoon fast-jet today. I have a feeling the last weeks of the Johnson premiership will take on a bucket-list quality.

I’d like a Sunak v Badenoch final so they just internally combust.
Love Schapps saying it was necessary for the Lying Johnson to be flying a fighter jet whilst we are in a war! WTF?? What war are we in, I must have missed it?
Suppose it's similar to when he went to work in a hospital during the fight against covid!!!! What a stupid set of useless ****s we have running the country. Total embarrassment!
He doesn't give a ****, never has. Pity that plane didn't get shot down, infact quite lucky considering the war we are in.Yes.....and many people are struggling with the ost of living so he should set an example and get all his groceries from a local food bank for the next month
Quicker removed than with that sex case he promotedThe liberal Tobias Elwood has been stripped of the Tory whip for failing to vote in the vote of confidence last night. Means Penny Mordaunt loses a voter.

And he's not a sex case?Ellwood's in the wrong party anyway. He's a lib-dem, but probably wouldn't keep his seat if he defected
And he's not a sex case?
Badenoch is surely next to go. Will her supporters go for Truss or Mordaunt? Suspect Truss, and she will go through with Sunak to a members' vote. Then Truss wins, and gives Badenoch a good job.
Badenoch gone. Now we see...
A Yougov poll of Tory members suggests that Sunak would lose to any of the other three (now two) in a run-off.
Yes. So it could be one of the two women. And it would technically be possible for Sunak supporters to lend their vote to Mordaunt tomorrow so Rishi doesn't have to face Truss. So we could end up with Mordaunt, due to Machiavellian tricks from the Sunak camp.
I'd prefer Mordaunt to Sunak or Truss.
I'd prefer Mordaunt to Sunak or Truss.
On the face of it, yes. But some pretty senior people like Lord Frost have been saying she doesn't have the intellect and tends to go missing when she should be attending to her duties. She'd need really good people behind her.
Same here to be fair ColI'd prefer Mordaunt to Sunak or Truss.
