A Yougov poll of Tory members suggests that Sunak would lose to any of the other three (now two) in a run-off.
Yes. So it could be one of the two women. And it would technically be possible for Sunak supporters to lend their vote to Mordaunt tomorrow so Rishi doesn't have to face Truss. So we could end up with Mordaunt, due to Machiavellian tricks from the Sunak camp.
I'd prefer Mordaunt to Sunak or Truss.
I don't think any of them can win the next election, but Sunak would probably do least damage in the meantime.
On the face of it, yes. But some pretty senior people like Lord Frost have been saying she doesn't have the intellect and tends to go missing when she should be attending to her duties. She'd need really good people behind her.
