So are you all for ‘no borders’ and no immigration controls then Bracknell ?
What would be your cut off ? Or is it a free for all and everyone is welcome ?
I’d match the EU’s current free movement bloc for Ukrainians. We are making it unnecessarily difficult for people with family here to just get here and leaving France to it.
Lets not talk about what others are doing…that’s just guff.
What would we do exactly ? Do we let all who wish to come in ?
Or do we limit numbers ?
Or do we assist while people are out in Poland etc….?

I think at the very least we can stop pretending to give a **** while forcing desperate women and kids to jump through hoops. Process them in Calais and get them in rather than forcing them back to Paris for no reason other than to appease imbeciles here.
So you are happy to give white Europeans easier and less strict access than brown Syrians or black Ethiopians ? Or should we just allow all in without controls ?

I’d let in those fleeing war. I don’t care which war. It’s a myth that we are a soft touch or will put them all in five bed houses in Kensington so it’s a myth that we’ll somehow be overrun.
Sorry that was a bit unfair of me, apologies.
However I stand by the point i was making….this country is completely unequipped to take on vast amount of refugees from all over the world who are fleeing war or seeking financial gain (which let’s be totally honest, many are and abuse the system)
It’s just a fact…..we as an island could not cope…we haven’t got the infrastructure in place and due to those in charge, both Tory and Labour…we never will as they line their own pockets first.
No we don’t put them up in 5 bed houses…..just airport hotels where they are fed, given shelter and medical assistance, helped financially while their claims are being assessed.
It’s just a fact of life
This is a sad state of affairs for one of the world’s largest economies while the rest of Europe is left to pick up the slack.

The EU has opened its borders such is the scale of the crisis on this continent. We are a pariah.
So again, do you think we should open our borders to all (as long as they claim to be fleeing war) ?
Then I would suggest it would not be long until the society that we know descended into economic ruin and chaos.
If that was the case then we wouldn’t be a very appealing destination and most of the world would be considerably more ****ed than it is. For all we lose on tax evasion we could take in plenty.
So you don’t think society would break down and that we would all live in peace, harmony and prosperity ?
In a perfect world we, as a society, wouldn’t allow tax evasion, tax avoidance or rich people taking the piss…..unfortunately we do so your last point is a bit mute.
Of course clamp down on it, although that wouldn’t suit the interest of the rich or those in power……however we dont, and won’t anytime soon.
