Boris didn't ignore security concerns. He helped establish facts on Lebedev which ultimately satisfied the security services. No one knows more than that. If the security services say they are satisfied, that has to be accepted. They owe Boris no duty and will no doubt have to justify their position to successive governments. Lebedev is fervently against the war on Ukraine.
