Bob don’t going swimming in the sea off the British coast mate as you might swim into a Russian sub. They continually violate our air space and play cat and mouse with our ships as well. Putin is always breaking or violating rules. Look at Crimea?
No need to worry about that, i have no intention of swimming in the publics ****!!

Im no expert on any of this Nato, Russian/Ukraine ****, so will leave it to the superior knowledge of others. What i will say is this, if someone, somewhere decides to nuke another country then it could well scupper our play off hopes!

Or it gets decided on points per game and we waltz delightfully into the top six at the expense of Sheff U etc.

Here we go then. Putin recognises Luhansk and Donetsk as ‘independent republics’ ie his vassal states, and they will now request Russian military support to fight the Ukrainians who are, according to no one but them, shelling them.

Only question is will Putin be satisfied with getting these bits of Ukraine? He took the ‘advice’ of his cronies looking very much like a dictator, sitting at his big table, in a pathetic and transparent bit of theatre.

Here’s an idea, real plebiscites within both of these areas supervised by the UN, where Russia is on the Security Council, both Putin and Ukraine agree to abide by the result. Yes, I know it would be a worlds first for Putin not to fix a vote……and doubtless his apologists will convince themselves that Russian boots on Ukrainian soil, and Russian shells in Ukrainian air, are fully justified because of the nasty west.

Johnson, for all his many, many faults, has actually been the most influential head of State from the west according to Ukraine.

Quite a low bar admittedly.
