The EU is failing apart daily but sadly the remain fanatics can’t see past their Guardian tinted glasses. Best thing we ever did was to get out of that club… a club that didn’t like us anyway.
it’s just naive beyond stupidity to try and link Ukraine to Brexit… seriously people need to read up a bit more.
Right I will let you cry over your Lattes as I am watching the football.

I don’t have milk in my coffee. Let me know when the EU falls apart.

that’s because there is no food in the shops because of Brexit? Just like Christmas when we all starved.
funnily enough
not a lot of milk in my local supermarket over the weekend
no bagels or much bread either
now we finally have covid in the community the hoarders are going mental
they must be fully stocked of toilet paper as there was plenty of that

There is food on the shelves but an increasing number of people can’t afford it.
that’s something else. Just have a look at the Eurozone. I speak to many friends in France Germany, Spain and Italy. I know how much things have gone up in those countries. I talked to my French builder who spent an hour telling me how much stuff has gone up… nothing to do with Brexit.

It’s because Putin has troops on the Ukraine border which was caused by Brexit. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Brexit exacerbates the problems. Welcome to the ****ing point.

There is a majority of Russians in Crimea which was part of Ukraine's sovereign territory. When Putin's and his disguised troops put forward the independence vote, there was no box to check for those who wished to remain part of the Ukraine. That is Putin's democracy which you defend. As to whether there will be an invasion of the whole of Ukraine, who knows? Possibly not even Putin. Washington is not talking up the possibility - that is a ridiculous argument because if Putin wanted to prove Washington wrong, he could stand down his 100,000 troops. But he isn't. Nevertheless, if Putin does invade, no doubt the Putin apologists will claim it is all Washington's fault.

I can tell you now, if Scotland became independent and allowed Russian bases, the remainder of the UK would NOT invade Scotland. It would bolster its defences and upgrade its monitoring of Russian movements. All the current problems stem from the sociopathic leader, Vladimir Putin. If Gorbachev was still in power, I don't believe any of this would have happened and agreements would have been reached. You seem to be a supporter of Putin, Cologne, but I don't want to put words in your mouth. Are you?

Apologist is the accurate description.

Living here (France), working here and bringing up two kids here, I haven't noticed prices go up massively over the last couple of years. I think if you work in certain industries prices have gone up, but people I speak to through work (English trainer in various businesses across Paris), a lot of those price increases are down to the pandemic, and delays in production and then shipping...not anything political.

That’s what I said to my builder. We can blame Brexit for certain things but the pandemic is the cause of price increases. :emoticon-0148-yes: Talking of France Dave… I shall be out there in 8 weeks time… first time since 28 days later.

So Brexit hasn’t affected food prices?

Covid is a very convenient cover story.

As it was predicted to be nearly two years ago. Covid was an unavoidable, albeit horrifically managed, problem akin to being thrown in for three rounds with prime Mike Tyson. Well done us on being the only country in the world to punch ourselves in the nose repeatedly just in case Mike doesn’t do enough damage.
