I don’t have milk in my coffee. Let me know when the EU falls apart.

that’s because there is no food in the shops because of Brexit? Just like Christmas when we all starved.

There is food on the shelves but an increasing number of people can’t afford it.

that’s something else. Just have a look at the Eurozone. I speak to many friends in France Germany, Spain and Italy. I know how much things have gone up in those countries. I talked to my French builder who spent an hour telling me how much stuff has gone up… nothing to do with Brexit.

It’s because Putin has troops on the Ukraine border which was caused by Brexit. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Does Brexit have no impact on food costs then, bring them down or push them up, overall? I think we both know the answer.

Do you think the Pandemic has had an impact on food? I think we both know the answer.

It would be more than 6% if you chose to put up a massive trade barrier with Australia to appease morons.

    Did someone say invade Scotland?

Come on chaps, I'll meet you all at Carlisle at 8pm tomorrow. We can surprise them with a night raid on those pesky distilleries.

Living here (France), working here and bringing up two kids here, I haven't noticed prices go up massively over the last couple of years. I think if you work in certain industries prices have gone up, but people I speak to through work (English trainer in various businesses across Paris), a lot of those price increases are down to the pandemic, and delays in production and then shipping...not anything political.

That’s what I said to my builder. We can blame Brexit for certain things but the pandemic is the cause of price increases. :emoticon-0148-yes: Talking of France Dave… I shall be out there in 8 weeks time… first time since 28 days later.

As it was predicted to be nearly two years ago. Covid was an unavoidable, albeit horrifically managed, problem akin to being thrown in for three rounds with prime Mike Tyson. Well done us on being the only country in the world to punch ourselves in the nose repeatedly just in case Mike doesn’t do enough damage.
