I am rather enjoying what Amanda Platell (ex Tory spin doctor) calls the ‘old male brigade’ (she’s too polite to say ‘terrified misogynists’) blaming Johnson’s woes on his Mrs, as if she’s some Lady Macbeth or something. She’s not bright enough, of course, though those who are blaming her can’t see, for some reason, that they are making Johnson look even more weak and idle than he is.
