Sadly for whom?
With the greatest respect Bob, I don’t think the Tories were counting on your vote. They are more concerned with voters like myself.
As I said it will blow over in a few weeks… it’s already lost it’s top spot on the news to Andrew even today.
I will let all theTory bashers get on with it and flood social media, so other Tory bashers can laugh.

Its the easiest thing in the world to bash the Tories, especially Johnson. They just keep on giving with the material.

Why are all the major Tories loading up Sue Gray. They seem ever so confident and keep stressing to wait for her report. I smell a rat. Surely in the interest of honesty and integrity, this should be an independent investigation rather than someone Johnson has basically appointed. It stinks like the rest of the corrupt behaviour.

After questioning this over emphasis of sue gray and her integrity, i thought i would try find out a little about her. Shes great at advising people how to destroy records so FOI cant be called on. Shes good at blocking requests of FOI aswell, shes helped Gove in the past hide his emails he sent from his wifes phone.
Yep, this will be a complete and utter whitewash.

She can’t be that good if you found out that information about her.

Is it not more people like Col you should be concerned who are seemingly turning their backs of the conservatives?

Although I don’t personally share this definition, C S Lewis said that ‘integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching’. How many of the cabinet abide by that?

It’s interesting to hear the string of ministers, people who owe their jobs to Johnson, squirmingly lie and churn out the party line ‘work event’ ‘garden integral part of Downing Street work environment’ ‘he apologised for the upset caused’ [not, apparently for breaking therules] ‘wait for the [increasingly painted as a saint] Gray report for the facts’. ‘It shouldn’t have happened but technically it was ok’.

I wonder how many of them look at themselves in the mirror and feel shame and self disgust, or, like Rees Mogg, simply feel scorn and contempt for anyone who doesn’t talk like him?

It’s very boring, tedious and banal, but every day this continues, every time the flimsy story is rolled out, the numbers will get worse for the Tories. Yesterday 66% of voters said he should resign, including 42% of those who voted Tory last time.

The saddest thing about the corruption and venality of this bunch is that their level of ambition is so pathetic. Make a few friends richer (presumably for a backhander or two), break a few social mixing rules with impunity, grope an assistant in the office, lie and get away with it. If you are going to be corrupt at least go big, like the Borgias.

Well at least we'll get a proper resolution to all this when Sue Gray presents her report to......Boris Johnson.

Did CS Lewis have a stutter?

Boris has cancelled his meetings today as a family member is Covid positive.

( which he should do)

I hope he gets the stick from the same people on here who gave Starmer stick when he missed PMQ last week.

Edit...I am wrong, he no longer has to isolate ...if he has a negative covid lateral flow test.
It is just so complex...
He has no reason to isolate

He tested positive for cowardice.

So this is probably not just a 'Westminster bubble' issue. I think the Tories will let Boris go until the local elections, get a drubbing, and then pick a new PM.
He was down in the polls before Christmas and got back.. until the garden party that is. Give it a couple of weeks when Labour MP's have to try and get out a coherent sentence and they will be back in front.
