Devon MP loses Tory whip after backing Labour on energy bills

Newton Abbot MP says she was ‘simply standing up for the best interests of my constituents’

This sums up whats wrong with politics in my humble opinion. There should be no whipping. Mps should represent their constituents and be able to vote either way on any matter without fear of consequence. That means for all parties in the house.

Let’s face it whatever Starmer had said or most importantly didn’t say, they’d always be an angle to try and make it about him. Where this is all about the prime minister and the Tory party taking the piss.

Johnson has proved time after time he is what we all said he was. Why when all the other breaches were exposed did the government not take the front foot and admitted what they knew they’d done, they must of seen it coming? But no why do that when you can continue to lie to the public and think you can get away with it. It’s clear now one of the possibly many things that awful slug Cummings had on Johnson and the nonsense they spouted when he got caught out.

My hope is that reality tv style personality politics is on the way out and it’s left to the grown-ups, you might actually see meaningful and progress in PMQs with Sunak and Starmer rather than the panto **** show we have with Johnson involved and his latest gaff/lies/breach of laws or rules/personal horror story/corrupt contracts… pepper pig world.

If Johnson is binned off maybe he can find the time to see the kids he can’t currently be arsed with.

Mate you will send shock waves down Tory HQ corridors! I can see Boris falling on his sword after hearing this. The 1922 committee has called an urgent meeting.

let me just put it out there…
Bob will be voting for Starmer! Who would have guessed that?
